This is an opportunity to make a one-time, monetary, optional contribution to cover classroom event expenses organized by room parents throughout the school year. Class funds cover two class parties, holiday gifts for teachers and classroom paraprofessionals, the Hippo Tiger Giraffe Games basket, Staff Appreciation Week events, and, in the case of Thomas Jefferson only, the year-end grade-wide picnic. This is a suggested donation per child and is not required. These funds will NOT go towards Grade Level Educational Experience Days or Field Trips. End of year gifts for teachers are given on an individual basis.

Class funds are pooled by grade level and distributed equally between the classes. The Room Parents will be responsible for handling the individual class budgets so some flexibility is certainly expected and allowed. Questions? Contact us at RoomparentTAW@fcepta.org
